Garrett Sloter is a Vice President, Senior Asset Manager, based in the firm’s Newport Beach office. With more than eight years of affordable housing and asset management experience, Garrett is responsible for managing the portfolio for Forward Housing, R4 Capital’s development subsidiary. Forward Housing’s growing portfolio focuses on the preservation and rehabilitation of Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties across the United States.

Prior to joining Forward Housing in 2024, Garrett was an Asset Manager with a Denver-based nonprofit developer, where he oversaw an affordable portfolio of more than 1,700 LIHTC units with a focus on permanent supportive housing, affordable family, and rehabilitation properties.

Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Colorado State University. Additionally, he received a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation in 2022.
