Kelly Mahoney is a Vice President, Senior Asset Manager, based in the firm’s Boston office. With more than ten years of affordable housing and asset management experience, Kelly is responsible for managing the portfolio for Forward Housing, R4 Capital’s development subsidiary. Forward Housing’s growing portfolio focuses on the rehabilitation of Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties across the United States.

Prior to joining R4 Capital in 2020, Kelly spent seven years at a Boston-based affordable housing investment firm, where she oversaw a portfolio of more than $450 million of LIHTC investments with a high concentration in permanent supportive housing, construction, and rehabilitation properties.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, she received a Housing Credit Certified Professional designation in 2017 and completed the Real Estate Finance Certificate program at Boston University in 2018.
